National Security Policy Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

The scholarship shall be awarded in three divisions: Division 1: Employees of the Australian Government Public Service, or State and Territory equivalents who have received an offer of admission from the National Security College. Division 2: Other Domestic students who have received an offer of admission from the National Security College. Division 3: International students who have received an offer of admission from the National Security College. The scholarship shall be available to an applicant who is an international student and has completed a Bachelor degree with Honours or international equivalent in a cognate discipline with a minimum of Distinction average or above and meets the ANU English language requirements and has been offered admission to the Master of National Security Policy or Master of National Security Policy (Advanced).

ANU College of Business and Economics International Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

The scholarships shall be available to an applicant who is an International Student as defined under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. Dependants of the staff of diplomatic or consular missions are also eligible. Has achieved at an excellent level in their final years of schooling prior to commencing at ANU, as demonstrated by excellent academic results in their qualifications; is applying for admission to tertiary study at the ANU for the first time. Students transferring from other Australian or overseas institutions may still be eligible to receive this Scholarship; and successful or will be successful in receiving an offer of admission into a single or double undergraduate degree program offered by the ANU College of Business and Economics.

Applicants only need to complete one online application form to register for consideration for both the College of Business and Economics International Undergraduate Scholarship and the College of Business and Economics International Undergraduate Award. All eligible applicants will firstly be considered for the International Undergraduate Scholarship. Once these scholarships have been allocated and accepted, then all remaining eligible applicants will be considered for the International Undergraduate Award.

ARC Centre of Excellence for Plant Energy Biology Warwick Hillier Honours Scholarships

The award is available each year to an ANU student who is a domestic or international student; has been successful in gaining entry into the Honours year of an undergraduate program offered by the Research School of Biology and have a willing and suitable supervisor; is undertaking research in plant energy biology; and has a strong academic record.

Australian Centre on China in the World Scholarships

Eligibility requirements

Australia and New Zealand Citizens; Australian Permanent Residents are domestic students; other citizenship holders will apply as international students. To be admitted to the Doctor of Philosophy program you will be required to have completed at least a four-year Australian degree with at least an upper second class honours or its international equivalent, or a Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree with a significant research thesis component. There must be a supervisor within the College of Asia & the Pacific (CAP) available to supervise your research. Students in the CIW program are expected to engage deeply with issues related to China from all disciplinary backgrounds. Thus, proficiency in Chinese is strongly recommended. All applicants must meet the University's English Language Admission Requirements for Students. You may be granted admission if you can demonstrate that you have a background equivalent to these qualifications.

Hedley Bull Scholarship

Applicants should be intending to enrol full-time at this University in the Honours Year of a program of study leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor with Honours. They must contact the relevant Honours Convenor for their discipline in their College. Applicants need to establish that they have (or will have) the academic qualifications for entry into Honours and that the required resources will be available to them. The scholarship shall be available to an applicant who is an international students as defined under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. Dependants of the staff of diplomatic or consular missions are also eligible. Students have received an offer of admission into a postgraduate coursework program offered by the college to commence in teaching period for which they are applying for this award; will commence a postgraduate coursework program within the college during the intake for which they have applied for scholarship consideration; and has not previously been a recipient of this ANU College of Business and Economics International Graduate Scholarship award. One scholarship will be awarded to a student from Latin America, Europe, Asia, South East Asia and Eurasia while the remaining five scholarships will be open to applicants from all regions of the world.

ANU College of Business and Economics Community Engagement Award

Eligibility requirements

The award shall be available to an applicant who is a domestic or international student. Currently enrolled either full or part time in a single or double undergraduate degree or a graduate coursework program offered by the College. Current students who hold a minimum credit average (at least 60 per cent across all units completed at ANU to date) will be eligible to apply for this extracurricular funding. Students has not previously received this Community Engagement Award in prior years of study; is seeking funding for an upcoming or a recently completed activity or opportunity. In this instance, activities completed within the last 12 months will be accepted. Engagement activities must be deemed to directly enhance the students’ academic experience and professional career development prospects in a business or economics related field. Eligible activities for consideration may include: conferences, research, voluntary internships, outreach, service or community programs, or some other similar engagement which is specifically aligned with the individual’s ANU curriculum.
