About First Nations University of Canada

Overview

The First Nations University of Canada traces its origins to the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College started in partnership with the University of Regina. Originally started in 1976, the new name was adopted in 2003. The mission of the First Nations University of Canada is to enhance the quality of life, and to preserve, protect and interpret the history, language, culture and artistic heritage of First Nations. The University operates from three campuses: Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Programs are offered in English, Business Environmental Studies, Indigenous Studies and Indian Fine Arts.
