Located at Bankstown airport, Sydney, Basair is the largest flight College in Australia and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) with CRICOS approval. Basair operates a fleet of over 50 aircraft, which is the third largest commercial fleet in Australia, behind only QANTAS and Virgin Blue. The College has 44 high quality instructors, dedicated to training students. Since its inception in 1991, Basair has been providing flight training of a very high quality. The Aviation College has an excellent, structured competency based curriculum, indicating that students typically achieve a commercial pilot licence in eight months through theory and practical aspects of flying.
