What will I learn?

Our professional communication students will gain ample exposure to real-world practices with real-world practitioners within the field. Through meticulously designed projects, industrial training and frequent seminars by notable speakers, a holistic education is part of our students’ development.

The programme is designed to enhance student’s versatility on the knowledge and skill set required in the professional field of media and communication. Students will be exposed to the industry practitioners and they will have a hands-on experience of working with real-life industry pitching, projects and assignments.

We aim to produce graduates who are industry ready, who can make a positive impact on any organisation as soon as they begin their chosen career.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • Pass STPM or equivalent with at least grade c (CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects and credit English at SPM level; or
  • Pass A-level in two (2) subjects; or
  • Pass STAM with at least jayyid grade and credit English at SPM level or equivalent; or
  • Pass unified examination certificate (UEC) with at least grade b in five (5) subjects and credit in English subject; or
  • Pass matriculation/foundation with minimum CGPA 2.00 and credit English at SPM level or equivalent: or
  • A diploma in media and communication or equivalent ; or
  • A diploma or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00 and credit in English subject at SPM level or equivalent.

NOTE:

Credit in English subject at SPM level maybe be exempted for candidates (i), (iii), (v) and (vii) if the qualification contains English subject and the achievement is equivalent or above the credit requirement at SPM level.

English language requirement for international students:

TOEFL with a minimum score of 500; or

IELTS with a minimum score of 5.0; or

other equivalent qualifications
