Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is among the leading colleges in the Southeast, and is rated highly by the U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review. A close-knit community, AUM is designed for a capacity of only 7,000 students. Close to half of the classes at AUM have a numerical strength of 20 or fewer students, which enables professors to know students by name.
AUM offers courses at its wooded 600-acre campus and in an online setting, sometimes through a blend of both. AUM has a diverse student body and a close-knit campus community that includes students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The university has award-winning faculty members. Almost 40 percent of AUM students earn scholarship assistance, including those for freshmen, transfer students and international students.
