Dr Phillip Donaldson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to one deserving CQUniversity student residing in Bundaberg. This scholarship is in honour of Dr Donaldson's life and achievements, and recognises his contribution as an inspiring teacher and gifted researcher. 

To be eligible to receive The Dr Phillip Donaldson Memorial Scholarship an applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Be commencing in their first term of study in a Bachelor degree at CQUniversity in Term 1 2016
  • Have a residential post code in Bundaberg (4670)
  • Not be receiving another Donor Funded Scholarship.

Eligibility requirements

All Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship recipients are governed by these terms and conditions: awarded, at the discretion of the University, to exceptional students, undertaking on-campus, full-time degree study at CQUniversity Australia; only available for students applying for undergraduate or postgraduate (course work) award programs; full degree programs (full bachelor or masters only) and it is not available to students, for a program they are currently studying at CQUniversity or in conjunction with any other CQUniversity Scholarship.

Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia's partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements. They provide opportunities for people from developing countries to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. The study and research opportunities provided by Australia Awards Scholarships develop skills and knowledge of individuals to drive change and contribute to the development outcomes of their own country.
