If your dream is to start a business and become an entrepreneur, then you should pursue a course in business management. There are quite a few universities in our country that conduct this program, but if you are keen on going abroad, then you should explore some of the Business schools in the UK.  It will not only provide you with the finest in education, but give you exposure to industries and markets from across the world, widening your horizon and boosting your knowledge base.

Business degrees are quite popular in the UK, with over 13% of the higher education students and about 19% of post graduates seek out business related programs across Colleges and Universities.  Of the total number of students in the program, one third are from foreign countries, including India.

In UK there are over 100 business schools and many are within the University campus itself.  It is probably one of the few countries offering such a high level of importance to business courses.  London is the most important financial centers in the world, and offers infinite number of opportunities.      Following close on heels, Edinburgh is the 2nd biggest financial hub in London. The country offers a lot for the student, apart from education. It helps in grooming a person and preparing them for the world.

Now, when you are looking at options to pursue your Business course from, you should look at a college or University that is not only good, but also well recognized globally. The London Business School is probably the 1st choice for most students, but because they have quite an elaborate selection process, many look at alternatives such as University of Northampton, Kaplan Business School, South Thames College London (International), Southampton Solent University or the Plymouth University  as an option. Each of the colleges offer between 4 and 20 business courses. The colleges provide education spanning across under graduate and post graduate levels.

When working on application forms, the choice of course is the important decision to make. Students can choose between doing an international business BA [Hons]. Business Economics BSc [Hons], Law with business BA [Hons], Business Management BA [Hons] and business & Management MSc course.

No matter what the course, or the university, it is important for the students to understand what they are getting into, prepare themselves and get cracking on the admission process. Once the course is complete, the students can look at either returning home and seeking job opportunities or taking on one that comes through their college to gain some experience before embarking on the entrepreneurship journey.
