Jack Adelman Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Must be a First Nations University of Canada student who successfully completed the Administration Qualifying Program and successfully transferred into the Bachelor of Administration Program. Selection of recipient is based on highest transfer GPA. In the event of a tie, the award will be shared among the qualifying students.

Applicants must complete the application form and enclose the following documents: a personal statement (no more than two pages), which includes your field of study, education goals and interests. If you are applying for multiple scholarships please use one paragraph for each scholarship explaining how you qualify; a brief resume outlining education institutes, community involvement, volunteer and work experience; program sheet from Academic Advisor and two letters of reference outside of the First Nations University of Canada. The application along with the documents must be submitted to First Nations University of Canada Scholarship Committee, C/O Student  Success Services, 1 First Nations Way, Regina SK, S4S7K2.

Drs. Lewis and Elisabeth Brandt Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Students must be registered at the First Nations University of Canada and fall within one of the following three categories:

  • Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Indigenous Education - Elementary Program and completed a minimum of 6 credit hours in Indigenous Language courses; or
  • Be enrolled in the First Nations Language Certificate Program.
  • Preference will be given to students who meet the above qualifications, are over 30 years of age, and intend to teach a Canadian Indigenous language at the primary or elementary level. Students may be Aboriginal or non-Aboriginal.

If you are applying for multiple scholarships please use one paragraph for each scholarship explaining how to qualify; a brief resume outlining education institutes, community involvement, volunteer and work experience; program sheet to be completed by an Academic Advisor, budget, and cover letter expressing interest in teaching an Indian language at the primary or elementary level. Eligibility requirements

Must be a graduate of the First Nations University of Canada with the highest GPA accepted into full-time graduate studies in a joint First Nations University of Canada/University of Regina Special Case Masters Program.
