Hi, UK Universities offer limited scholarships and you might get 10 to 20% in general. US  in general has several Universities which hands out scholarships in various forms. There are general scholarships and Research Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships for good students. Scholarships are based on good Academic scores, good GRE ( 310 plus), TOEFL and any relevent work experience will also be an advantage.

Applying early will have its own merits and most University applications in US start in October this year for Fall 2013 ( September 2013) admissions. Prepare hard for GRE and make sure you write the exam before November end to stand a chance for scholarships.
