Do academic records affect on GRE scholarship ?

I have done engineerinng with 65% aggregate . My academic record is not so good. Will GRE scolarship effected due to bad academic records?

Hello Nitin,

It is your overall profile. Generally academic has low weightage afor admission as education system and grading are different in different countries and cannot be compared easily. Hence good GRE score and overall good profile has good chance of scholarship. However this does not mean anyway that academic grades are not important. They are important but if you have overall good profile and good GRE score and if funds are available with the applied university for the program you have applied than you do have a chance for scholarship. Write a good SOP to prove yourself.
