Evaluate this profile - VLSI design at USA

My GRE : 319 TOEFL : 109 B.Tech in ECE from kakatiya university, AP. with 78% till my 3rd year. No work experience no international papers. But have two projects and nearly 10 inventions of my own in various fields. please suggest me some universities in the USA where I can get an admit as well as full or partial funding. I want to do my specialisation in VLSI/solid state electronics. Thank you.. here are some universities I thought of..rate them as ambitious, moderate to safe. 1) umass amherst 2) UT dallas 3) Nebraska state lincoln 4) florida state 5) u. delaware 6) missouri tech 7) SUNY buffalo SUNY binghamton 9) U. houston main 10) U wisconsin 11) cincinnati state 12) Rutgers state 13) NJIT 14) maryland 15) kansas state 16) minnesota twin cities

Hello Asrith,

I hope you have patented your 10 inventions so that you can take advantage of it or have noted it at the appropriate authority. Otherwise you will have hard time explaining the same to the admission committee.

You SOP and your recommendation letter will play a crucial role in getting admission as well as scholarship. Apply a year in advance for scholarship and admission purpose. Your list of universities seems reasonable provided you apply to minimum 10 of them from the above choice.
