Hi, I have a CGPA of 8.9 in Electronics and Communication. How adversely will this effect my chances of pursuing higher studies in good US universities.?

Hi Ramesh, You got a competitive score , Actually Extracurricular activities matter more than the academic scores . Showcase anything you've done outside of classes, from volunteering to work part time, or playing an instrument.

And, SAT scores matter. This is more important than the academic scores.. Whether they admit it or not, schools will use the SATs to evaluate whether you have the academic chops to be at that school.

Finally, do well on the TOEFL or IELTS exams.
