MS in mechanical engineering - Is USA a good choice?

Im doing my BE in mechanical engineering. i had heard that there aren't good colleges in US or UK to pursue MS in mechanical engineering. is that so? is germany the only country for mechanical engineers?

Germany is a good study destination for Masters in Mechanical Engineering, due to its strong high-tech oriented economy and great demand for well-qualified and achievement-oriented young engineers, scientists, IT professionals etc however;  US, UK and Australia are also well known for their good education standards.
