International students with Level 5 courses or higher are eligible for 1 year of job option in NZ, where they should find relevant job for PR or Work permit based on eligibility criteria. There is shortage of skilled labor in selected category and I will request you to visit www.immigration.govt.nz for more details.

Hi, I would recommed you to do a Level 7 program and above to get the Graduate Job Search Visa. The New Rule which came in to effect on the 2nd of April states as follows:
The following categories of Student applicants are eligible to be considered for a Graduate Job Search or Graduate Work Experience visa:
• Students who have completed a qualification at level 7 or above on the New Zealand Qualification Framework and studied that qualification in New Zealand for at least one academic year; OR
• Students who have completed a two year qualification at level 4* to 6 on the New Zealand Qualification Framework and studied that qualification in New Zealand for at least two academic years;
So please do not do any program less than level 6 unless it is a 2 year program. Look out for Government funded Colleges of Technology like EIT, UCOL, etc where the courses are quite affordable and offer excellent infrastructure facilities.
