dear experts. I am B.Tech(ECE) with 85 percent aggregate, passed in 2012. I have good grades in 10th and 12th std as well with 98 percentile in GATE 2012. I wish to pursue PhD in EEE/ECE at the said univ. I have 5 research publications to my credit as well. Please tell me, how are my chances to achieve both admission and scholarship? Is experience also required in my case? Thanks.

Hi, It is going to be vey difficult for you to get a direct PhD after your Bachelors especially since you have no work experience. You have good grades and so I would suggest you to put an application for Masters in NUS or NTU.

I would rate your chances for NUS and NTU to be good and so put an application asap.

Wish you all the best.
