Presently, I am planning to pursue Msc in Electrical Engineering from UK which is a one year course. Will this Msc make me eligible to apply for PhD Electrical Engineering? Whether GRE is required, do I get an exempt of TOEFL when should I apply?

PhD requires profile which suits the research/thesis that the USA University needs to conduct. Hence, MSc in Electrical Engineering from UK may not be the only requirement for PhD admission. Thou few USA University may accept directly for PhD without any research or related work experience. MSc in Electrical Engineering from UK is acceptable for PhD degree from USA University. GRE is required for admission in most USA University and TOEFL can be waived because of your UK qualification. However, please do not try to generalize as independent research need to be done with each USA University for PhD admission and admission criteria will vary from university to university.
