I am planning for fall 2014 intake. My profile is as follows: B.Tech. (Automotive Design Engineering) - 66% from state private university MSc (Automotive Engineering) - Merit (60-69%) from Coventry University UK as UK universities don't provide exact percentage value. GRE - Giving in April Kindly suggest me some universities for PhD in material science or mechanical engineering in relevance to my profile and any funding opportunities as well.

Dear Shilpa Since your Btech is in Automotive and Msc is in Automtove , I would suggest that you opt for PHD for a specialization under Automotvie a PHD in Material science / mechanical engineering would be too generic and broad for a PHD you always need to specialise For a degree in Automotive eng do consider Germany or Michigan in USA Do let me know your scores - so that I can advice on the universities Hope that helps Best wishes
