Hi! I am an engineer in the field of electronics and communication. I am planning to go for MBA in media or advertising as i have a creative side to me and most particularly because this field has my interests. Is it advisable to do a career change to media and advertising?

Hi! Congrats on deciding to pursue an MBA. The wonderful thing about an MBA is that it can apply to so many different fields, and would certainly be relevant to a career in media and advertising. Some MBA programs will look for prior coursework in finance, calculus or other business-related courses. Many MBA programs, however, are designed to give you all the information you need over the duration of your studies. Whether or not it is advisable to change careers is a question only you can answer! I can say with certainty that an MBA will put you on the right path to success. Be sure to look for programs that offer a concentration or specialization in Marketing or Advertising. AACSB or Equis accreditation is another sign that the program you are applying for will deliver. Check the  Universities offer  courses in the UK. And see for the MBA in Media courses offered in the USA.
