Thee Class of '91 June created an endowed fund for participants on the MBA programme. The award is made once a year to a disadvantaged candidate from a developing nation who demonstrates the need for financial assistance, and in particular to a candidate who is likely to return to his/her country and/or region of origin in the foreseeable future. Candidates admitted to the MBA Programme with the above mentioned profiles will be considered. Finanial need will be taken into consideration.

This scholarship is offered to Jewish students who can justify difficulty in raising sufficient finances for their living expenses. An INSEAD alumnus offers scholarships to Jewish students admitted to the INSEAD MBA Programme; a limited number of small awards are made each year. In keeping with the spirit and tradition behind this award, the winners are encouraged to give back by making their own donation to scholarships at INSEAD through the Alumni Fund within a few years after graduation.

This scholarship is targeted at Chinese and Indian participants at INSEAD. By offering INSEAD participants a scholarship, Louis Vuitton Malletier aims to encourage the awareness of the challenges and opportunities for the luxury goods industry in the region. One scholarship will be offered per intake to a Chinese or Indian participant and candidates for this scholarship will need to demonstrate (a) outstanding academic achievement and promise and (b) a commitment to contributing to their country or region at some point in the future. INSEAD Giovanni Agnelli Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship was offered by the Fiat Group, and named after its former President, the late Giovanni Agnelli. Since the first award in 1981, this scholarship has been considered one of the most prestigious awards for meritorious Italian candidates admitted to the INSEAD MBA programme. In 2009 the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation contributed to this scholarship with additional funding. One or two scholarships are awarded per academic year. Preference will be given to Italian candidates with strong connections to Italy and who either have previous experience in industry or can demonstrate that they will contribute to Italian industry in the future.

INSEAD Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (Sylff)

This scholarship is an endowed gift to INSEAD from the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (Sylff). The Fund was established in 1987 by the Nippon Foundation in cooperation with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation. In its initial phase, the Sylff programme demonstrated its commitment to education through awarding fellowships to promising graduate students in the social sciences and humanities. Nearly 69 universities and consortia worldwide have received endowments of US $1 million (INSEAD included). In its second phase the Sylff programme is now building a worldwide community of young leaders. Candidates of any nationality who show strong leadership in a cross-cultural setting. INSEAD Judith Connelly Delouvrier Endowed Scholarship

This endowed scholarship fund was created as a permanent tribute to Judith Connelly Delouvrier, victim of the TWA Flight 800 tragedy in 1996. INSEAD Forte Foundation Fellowship

The Forte Foundation's mission is to substantially increase the number of women business owners and leaders by increasing the flow of women into key educational gateways and business networks. This is achieved with both monetary and mentoring support. As part of its association with the Forte Foundation INSEAD will award two fellowships a year to outstanding women admitted to the INSEAD MBA programme. Candidates for the Forte Fellowship should exhibit exemplary leadership in one or more ways: academic leadership; team leadership; community leadership; creative leadership. In addition INSEAD will look for measurable academic and personal achievement as well as involvement in issues related to the advancement of women. INSEAD Greendale Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

The trustees of the Greendale Foundation wish to provide access to the INSEAD MBA programme to disadvantaged Southern and East Africans who are committed to developing international management expertise in Africa and who plan their careers in the Southern and East African regions. Scholarship recipients must return to work in these African regions within three years of graduation; in the event this condition is not met, the recipients will be asked by INSEAD to refund their scholarship within the fourth year after completion of the MBA Programme. Students must be nationals from Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa (disadvantaged backgrounds), Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe (from disadvantaged backgrounds) who have undergone the major part of their education in Southern or East Africa. Preference will be given to those who have worked there prior to INSEAD. Student’s financial situation will also be taken into consideration.

INSEAD GEMBA Scholarship for National Diversity

The INSEAD scholarship for National diversity will be awarded to self-financed executives who are nationals from developing countries in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Greater China, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. The scholarship which will cover a portion of the tuition costs will be awarded based on merit to candidates accepted on the INSEAD GEMBA programme who also demonstrate financial need. Participants need to be self-funded or partially sponsored to a maximum of 50 per cent.

The awards range between 5 per cent and 20 per cent of tuition fees, and are deducted from 3rd instalment.

INSEAD Admiral Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

This scholarship now supports MBA participants at INSEAD who are selected either on the basis of merit at the time of admission, or, who have demonstrated financial need and submitted an application accordingly. One award will be granted per class. All admitted candidates will be considered on the basis of merit as per the quality of their admission application. If a merit award is not allocated, then all candidates who qualify and have applied for need-based scholarships will be considered instead.
