International Achievement Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Kendall International Achievement Scholarship is available to eligible International student applicants per quarterly term. Applicants must be current year high school graduates and nominated by their high schools in writing.

If they are selected based on their submitted essay. The student must have a high school minimum cumulative U.S. Equivalency GPA of 2.75 and the nomination form must be submitted to Kendall by school personnel.

Application details

Applicants must submit the application form along with official high school transcripts. They should also submit ACT/SAT score, approved nomination form completed by the school personnel.

Student is eligible to receive an award of 25 per cent of the cost of tuition (valued up to $24,508)

International Dean’s Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

This award will be awarded to one eligible International student applicant per quarterly term for each of the Kendall Schools of Business, Culinary Arts (one each Culinary and Baking and Pastry) and Hospitality Management.

Application details

Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from either a professional or academic source citing the student’s abilities to succeed in their chosen field, an essay demonstrating commitment to the field of study, CV and official transcripts. A phone interview is required. Applicants must have a cumulative U.S. Equivalency GPA of 3.6 or above in the most recent academic level.

International Presidential Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

This scholarship will be awarded to one eligible International student applicant per quarterly term.

Application details

Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation from either a professional or academic source citing the student’s abilities to succeed in his or her chosen field, an essay demonstrating commitment to the field of study, CV and official transcripts. A phone interview is required. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative U.S. Equivalency GPA of 3.85 or above in the most recent academic level.

International Merit Award

Study level

Eligibility requirements

International Merit Awards are awarded at two levels. Level one will be awarded to eligible international student applicants per quarterly term with a minimum cumulative U.S. Equivalency GPA of 3.5 or higher and an 80% or higher on the Kendall Assessment. Level two, will be awarded to eligible International student applicants per quarterly term with a minimum cumulative U.S. Equivalency GPA of 3.0 GPA or higher and a 70 per cent or higher on the Kendall Assessment.

Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from either a professional or academic source citing the student’s abilities to succeed in his or her chosen field, CV, a scholarship essay demonstrating commitment to the field of study and official transcripts.

Value details

Level one, 15 per cent of the cost of tuition (valued up to $14,704); Level two, 10 per cent of the cost of tuition (valued up to $9,803)

English Pathway Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

The English Pathway Scholarship is available to participants of the Laureate English Program at Kendall College who subsequently elect to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at Kendall. The value of the scholarship is based upon the number of quarters that the student elects to attend the Laureate English Program.

The scholarship will be evenly applied to the tuition charges for the student’s first three
quarters of enrollment in the baccalaureate program.

Value details

Any student who attends for three or more quarters will be eligible for $5,000. Students who attend for two quarters will be eligible for $3,000 and students who attend for one quarter will be eligible for $1,500 in scholarship.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Award

Eligibility requirements

It will be awarded to eligible International student applicants per quarterly term that has successfully obtained an IB Diploma with a minimum score of 24.

10 per cent of the cost of the tuition (valued up to $9,803)

Community College Transfer Award

Study level

Undergraduate

Eligibility requirements

Any first-time enrolled international student who has earned at least 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours from an accredited community college (does not included development courses) with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is eligible for this award.

Applicants must submit official community college transcripts.

Value details

15 per cent of the cost of tuition (valued up to $14,704)
