Business School Dean's Scholarship (£4000) Kingston Business School is pleased to offer Kingston Business School Dean’s postgraduate scholarships to students applying for postgraduate programmes with the Business School starting in September 2016. These scholarships are for £4000 each and will be awarded on merit, to include both academic achievements and non-academic achievements such as internships, contributions to the community, sporting and work-related achievements. Students must already be in possession of a firm offer on the programme and have paid their course fee deposit.

GREAT Indian scholarship

Who can apply? You can apply for an award if you: -are an Indian student (classified as 'overseas' for fee purposes, holding an Indian passport and domiciled in India); -have an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a course at Kingston for September 2016 intake; and -are not currently registered on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Kingston University. How are the scholarships awarded? The scholarships are competitive and will be awarded to the most deserving students on the basis of: -academic merit; -what you expect to gain from the course you are taking; and -what you intend to do after completing the course. Please note that whilst Indian students will be considered for both the international postgraduate scholarships and the GREAT scholarships for postgraduate Indian students, students cannot be awarded both. Successful applicants will be awarded one scholarship only.

How do I apply? Please note that we cannot consider applications received after the deadline. Remember that the scholarships application procedure is separate from the admissions application procedure. You apply for the international scholarship via our online system and you'll need electronic copies of the documents mentioned in the above section to attach to your application. If you are eligible for a GREAT scholarship, you only need to make one application through the International Postgraduate Scholarships page, and you will automatically be considered for both the International Postgraduate Scholarship and the GREAT-Kingston University Scholarships India 2016.

This scheme is open to prospective full-time postgraduate students in any subject area on a one-year taught masters degree based at Kingston University. Students must be classified as 'overseas' for fee purposes and will need to have an offer of a place on a course at Kingston for 2016 entry. They must not be currently registered on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Kingston University.

Scholarships are available for both September entry and January entry (for courses with a relevant start date). Scholarship applications for September 2016 entry will be open from mid-February 2016, and the deadline of 31 May 2016 quoted above is for September 2016 entry.

International Undergraduate Scholarships

This scheme is open to prospective full-time undergraduate students in any subject area based at Kingston University. Students will receive the scholarship for every year that they are studying full-time at Kingston, up to three years maximum (so not to include any placement years). Students must be classified as 'overseas' for fee purposes and will need to have an offer of a place on a course at Kingston for 2016 entry. They must not be currently registered on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Kingston University.

How do I apply? In order to apply, you must first hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on an undergraduate course at Kingston University. You can apply online using the same application form as for the international undergraduate scholarships. You only need to make one application, as students eligible for the Rajiv Poddar scholarship will automatically be considered for both the international undergraduate scholarship and the Indian undergraduate scholarship. However, please note: students cannot be awarded both. Successful applicants will be awarded one scholarship only. You will need electronic copies of the following documents to make your application online: -a copy of your offer letter; -an academic reference letter; -a copy of your academic transcript/worksheet; and -a copy of your Academic IELTS or TOEFL result (where applicable)

International Loyalty Bursaries

A bursary is available to all international alumni who: - have completed a bachelors or masters degree course at Kingston University; - are categorised as 'overseas' for tuition fee purposes; and - register for another full-time degree course within 10 years of completion of the first award. You can apply for a bursary if you have a family connection with Kingston University (family means children, siblings or spouse) and are categorised as 'overseas' for tuition fee purposes: Siblings – brothers or sisters who register full-time at the University for a degree course are entitled to a bursary of 10% of each year's tuition fee. Siblings are entitled to receive the bursary whether they are studying at the same time or different times. This bursary will be automatic on evidence of: the brother or sister relationship; and of each brother or sister being registered on a full-time degree course. Children of alumni – children whose parents completed a degree course at the University and who register full-time at the University for a degree course are entitled to a bursary of 10% of each year's tuition fee. This bursary will be automatic on evidence of one parent being a Kingston alumnus. Spouse – husbands or wives who register full-time at the University for degree courses are both entitled to a bursary of 10% of each year's tuition fees if they are studying at the same time. The spouse of an alumnus is also entitled to receive the bursary. Study Abroad, Summer School and International Exchange student bursary Former Study Abroad, international Summer School and International Exchange students are entitled to a bursary of 10% reduction off the overseas tuition fee for each year of study if you: return to the University to follow a full-time degree course; and are categorised as 'overseas' for tuition fee purposes. Please note that preparation courses, such as pre-sessional English courses, do not qualify you for a bursary (if you have taken a preparation course you cannot use this to claim the bursary).

Postgraduate progression scholarship

For undergraduate students completing their degree in the academic year 2015/16 and progressing to enrol on a postgraduate degree (Taught or research) in the 2016/17 academic year, Kingston University is offering its graduates (home, EU and overseas) a scholarship entitling them to a 25% reduction to the tuition fees for their postgraduate programme. Students will be eligible, if at the time of applying, they have attained a qualifying bachelor’s degree in 2015/16 which has been awarded by Kingston University – or St.George’s University of London as part of a programme undertaken within the Joint Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education – and they meet the entry criteria for the postgraduate course* at Kingston University commencing in the academic year 2016/17. Students who have completed a Kingston University degree at a partner institution will qualify for the discount provided the degree awarded was a Kingston University bachelor’s degree and was completed in 2015/16. This Scholarship is inclusive of any alumni or loyalty discounts that may offered by Kingston University, including faculty, department or school discounts that may be available and may not be combined with any other such scholarship or discount. There is no guarantee that the 25% progression discount will be available for students enrolling for postgraduate programmes in subsequent years.
