About UUM

Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), established in 1984, is the sixth public university of Malaysia based in Sintok, Kedah DarulAman. Designated specifically as Malaysia’s management University, UUM seeks to reflect this in the design of its various academic programmes and curricula.

UUM is MS ISO 9001:2008 certified. Programmes offered are compliant to Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and come under the purview of Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education, to ensure UUM’s academic offerings are industry and market driven.
