Business Leaders Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Incoming freshman who meet these criteria will be considered:

Minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or the minimum test score on one of these exams:

  • 1020 (critical reading and math portions) on the SAT completed in or prior to February 2016.
  • 1100 (critical reading and math portions) on the new 2016 SAT completed in or after March 2016.
  • 22 ACT composite. 

Possess strong leadership potential.

Commit to serving as a highly engaged student in a hands-on, experiential business program.

If you meet the minimum criteria, you will be invited to participate in an interview and selection event held in November.

Application details

You must apply to Marian University no later than November 1 to be considered for the Business Leaders Scholarship, which is renewable for up to seven (7) semesters for full-time students who:

  • Maintain a 3.00 college GPA.
  • Continue as a student in the Byrum School of Business.
  • Participate in the scholarship program's co-curricular activities, including the Dean's Council for Business Leaders.

Saint Clare Academic Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Hold a minimum high school GPA of 3.0.

Earn the minimum test scores listed below on one of the following exams:

  • 1000 (Critical Reading and Math portions) on the SAT - completed in February 2016 or prior.
  • 1080 (Critical Reading and Math portions) on the New 2016 SAT - completed in March 2016 or later.
  • 22 ACT composite.

Demonstrate a record of leadership and community service.

Commit to an educational experience framed within the context of Marian University’s Franciscan values of dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship, informed by prayer.

Application details

Eligibility is determined at the time of admission on a rolling basis. Recipients of the Saint Clare Academic Scholarship will be notified of their award with the Accepted Student Packet.

Value details

The amount of the award is USD $6,000 based on prior academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and ability to contribute as a student to Marian University.

Saint Francis Academic Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Hold a minimum high school GPA of 3.25.

Earn the minimum test score listed below on one of the following exams:

  • 1100 (Critical Reading and Math portions) on the SAT - completed in February 2016 or prior.
  • 1170 (Critical Reading and Math portions) on the New 2016 SAT - completed in March 2016 or later.
  • 24 ACT composite.

Demonstrate a record of leadership and community service.

Commit to an educational experience framed within the context of Marian University’s Franciscan values of dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship, informed by prayer.

Lugar Fellow Global Studies Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Freshmen:

Hold a minimum high school GPA of 3.25

Earn the minimum test score listed below on one of the following exams:

  • 1100  (Critical Reading and Math portions) on the SAT - completed in February 2016 or prior.
  • 1170 (Critical Reading and Math portions) on the New 2016 SAT - completed in March 2016 or later.
  • 24 ACT composite.

Possess strong potential for leadership and academic success.

Have an interest in global issues, foreign language study, and study abroad.

Commit to an educational experience framed within the context of Franciscan values of dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship.

The Lugar Fellow Global Studies Scholarship is renewable for up to seven semesters for students enrolling full-time who:

  • Maintain a 3.00 college GPA.
  • Continue as a Global Studies minor.

Participate in global studies co-curricular activities, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with preparations for the Global Studies Speaker Series and other public events.
  • Interacting with the community.

Application details

Students must apply for the Lugar Fellow Global Studies Scholarship by December 1. To apply, complete a Lugar Fellow Global Studies Scholarship Application. Award notification begins in mid-December.
