KODAK Scholarship Program

Student requirements

Nominees will be evaluated on the basis of academic achievement, creative and technical ability, communications ability, and range of filmmaking experience. Visual Imagery will count 50%, creative and other technical skills 25%, and the other criteria 25%.

Application details

College student nominees must be fulltime undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an institution a year before the academic year planned in a film school’s degree or diploma program.

UK 9/11 Scholarship Fund

Student requirements

To be eligible you must have: Lost a parent or guardian as a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11 2001 or other subsequent terrorist tragedy. Have a parent or guardian who was thereby permanently injured, as a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11 2001 or other subsequent tragedy, and be able to demonstrate need, hardship or distress for the purposes of undertaking a course in higher or further education in the United Kingdom. The Scholarships cover funding for full-time study leading to a degree at undergraduate or master’s level (or equivalent further education) at recognised higher education institutes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Scholarships provide funding to cover the following: Tuition fees Travel to and from country of residence Stipend for living expenses and accommodation while in the UK

You should start considering your 9/11 Scholarship application around 18 months before the intended course start date e.g. Grade 10 at high school in USA or while you are in your second year of undergraduate study (if you are intending to apply for a Masters course).
