International Academic Achievement Scholarships
Level of study
Newman has 3 x £9000 scholarships for International students who achieve a high standard of secondary education. These scholarships will be available for new applicants for undergraduate programmes in September each year. £3000 will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. The £3000 scholarship in subsequent years of study is subject to passing all modules at the first attempt each year and passing each academic year with a minimum of 60% or above across all your modules. To be eligible to apply for an undergraduate scholarship students must hold a conditional or an unconditional offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate studies in September, be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes, have a high standard of secondary education, have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all areas) or equivalent and be able to evidence achievement in your personal statement. The scholarship will be deducted from your fees when you enrol. Please be aware that all international students are required to pay their £3000 deposit to Newman before a Visa Support Letter can be issued.
