  • Established: 1870 (Dunedin School of Art) and 1966 (Otago Polytechnic)
  • More than 7000 undergraduate students, and over 200 postgraduate students
  • 410 Academic teaching staff
  • Campus locations: Dunedin, Central Otago and Auckland
  • Rolling admissions, no application fees and affordable tuition fees
  • Good selection of postgraduate courses from Visual Arts and Design to Midwifery and Occupational Therapy

  • Accommodation options: Choice of homestay, private hostels and shared apartments.  Advice and support is available to find accommodation.
  • Academic year:  Most programmes start in February in Dunedin and Central Otago, and there is a limited intake in July for the second semester.  You can start in an English Language programme anytime. Our Auckland International Campus offers January, March, June, August and October start dates for their Applied Management programmes.
  • Facilities and Services include: a new well-resourced library, on-campus student health services, gym membership and recreational services, on campus IT store and services, a Students Association, a Learning Centre - (to assist with your assignments), counselling services and full international students support services.
