Vice Chancellor's Scholarship

Student requirements

To qualify students must achieve 136 (AAB) UCAS Tariff Points or 3.6 US CGPA or international equivalent (A Grade Average). Applications will be considered on a predicted grades, subject to verification of final results meeting the aforementioned criteria. Scholarship eligibility will be determined based on the information supplied in your Needs and Merit Based Funding Application, which must be completed once you have applied for and being accepted on to a Richmond undergraduate programme of study. Further details will be provide after acceptance.

Application details

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is merit based and may cover between 20 % and 12.5% of the Richmond annual tuition fee. The Vice-Chancellor Scholarships is donated by the University’s President. Continuation of the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship after the first year is conditional on the student achieving a cumulative 3.0 – 3.50 GPA from the previous academic year, remaining in good standing and making a positive contribution to University life. The Vice-Chancellors Scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other form of financial support or scholarship from the University.

The Provost’s Scholarships

Student requirements

To qualify students must achieve 120 (BBB) UCAS Tariff Points or a US CGPA of 3.0 or international equivalent (B Grade Average). Applications will be considered on a predicted grades, subject to verification of final results meeting the aforementioned criteria. Scholarship eligibility will be determined based on the information supplied in your Needs and Merit Based Funding Application, which must be completed once you have applied for and being accepted on to a Richmond undergraduate programme of study. Further details will be provide after acceptance.

Application details

The Dean’s Scholarship is merit based and may cover between 15 % and 7.5% of the Richmond annual tuition fee. Continuation of the Dean’s Scholarship after the first year is conditional on the student achieving a cumulative 3.0 – 3.59 GPA from the previous academic year, remaining in good standing and making a positive contribution to University life. The Dean’s Scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other form of financial support or scholarship from the University. (*calculated according to the University’s methodology)

The Chancellor’s Sir Cyril Taylor Scholarship

Students who are new entrants to the University, paying the full Richmond Tuition Fees. To qualify students must achieve 136 (AAB) UCAS Tariff Points or 3.6 US CGPA or international equivalent (A Grade Average). Applications will be considered on a predicted grades, subject to verification of final results meeting the aforementioned criteria. Scholarship eligibility will be determined based on the information supplied in your Needs and Merit Based Funding Application, which must be completed once you have applied for and being accepted on to a Richmond undergraduate programme of study. About the Scholarship: The Chancellor’s Sir Cyril Taylor Scholarship is a needs based and may cover between 25 % and 15% of the Richmond annual tuition fee. Funds for the Chancellors Scholarships are donated by Richmond’s Founder Sir Cyril Taylor. For continuation of the Chancellor’s Scholarship after the first year is conditional on the student achieving a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4 from the previous academic year, remaining in good standing and making a positive contribution to University life. The Alumni Scholarship

To be eligible, applicants should be: Alumnus/alumna who returns to the University to complete an Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme; Undergraduate or Postgraduate students who are the partners, dependents or siblings of a Richmond alumnus/alumna. Once awarded, continuation of the Scholarship into the second and subsequent semesters of study will be dependent on the Scholar: progressing normally on the programme, maintaining a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.5 (Undergraduate) or 3.0 (Postgraduate); and remaining in good standing and making a positive contribution to University life. The fee waiver is cancelled in total if the student does not remain actively enrolled throughout the normal duration of the programme. Normally, the Richmond Alumni Scholarship may not be held in conjunction with any other form of financial or scholarship support from the University.
