Chevening Scholarships

The Chevening Scholarships are the British government's global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, and awarded to outstanding students who show leadership potential. This scholarship is for all students (Home/EU or International) who join an undergraduate programme in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Lincoln in September 2015 and who ultimately progress onto the MMath fourth-year Master's programme (Level 4/M). Earl of Yarlborough Scholarship for Chemistry

The scholarship is worth £10,000 over three years, paid in instalments at the start of each academic year. It will be awarded to one student selected on the basis of their achieved tariff points at A level or equivalent. In the case of a tie, the scholarship will be awarded on the basis of tariff points, personal statement and academic references.

MMath Scholarship - A £5,000 cash scholarship is available to all students (Home/EU or International) who join an undergraduate programme in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Lincoln in September 2015 and who ultimately progress onto the MMath fourth-year Master's programme (Level 4/M). The scholarship will be payable to students who are enrolled as of 1 January in the academic year in which they progress onto the MMath Mathematics, or MMath Mathematics and Physics degree courses. University of Lincoln Scholarship

To be considered eligible, students must not have previously completed university-level education, and must have a household income below £25,000. Students whose household income exceeds £25,000, but is below £40,000, may receive a bursary of £450. The University of Lincoln Court Postgraduate Bursary will be a one-off payment of £3,000 to an exceptional student embarking on a postgraduate taught (PGT) course within any discipline of the 2015/2016 academic year. Students who have applied to enroll on a postgraduate taught course in September 2015 will be invited, from 1st March 2015 to submit an application for the bursary, outlining why the Court should support them on the basis of need and/or academic achievement.
