Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust Postgraduate Bursaries

Student requirements

The Leverhulme Trade Charities Postgraduate Bursaries are designed to provide support for eligible UK students i.e. those who are (or who are connected with) Commercial Travellers, Grocers or Chemists, in financial need undertaking full-time Postgraduate degree courses at institutions in the United Kingdom, leading to recognised qualifications (e.g. PhD/MSc). Eligible students: Applicants should normally have been resident in the United Kingdom and either be (or be the son or daughter, spouse, widow or widower of) a Commercial Traveller, Chemist, or Grocer, according to the definitions (“the eligible individual”). Eligible courses: Any full-time postgraduate degree course at a higher or further education institution in the UK, being either a body recognised by the Secretary of State for Education and Employment for the award of a degree or a body providing courses in preparation for a degree to be granted by a recognised body. Eligible costs: Funds are intended for those in financial hardship requiring funds for tuition and examination fees, travel costs, study materials and accommodation. Financial need: Applicants must provide justification for their reasons for applying for a bursary, they must also submit with their application form the "Declaration and Justification of Financial Need" form signed by the eligible individual.

Chancellor's International Scholarships

Student requirements

Applicants for a Chancellor's International Scholarship must also be applying for a PhD at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2015; Applicants must expect to be 'overseas' students for fees purposes, but there is no other nationality criteria; Applicants may be from any discipline at Warwick.

New applicants can apply for the Chancellor’s International Scholarship by completing the Joint Postgraduate Admissions and Scholarship Application form. If you are eligible for this scholarship you will be asked if you would like to be considered for funding as part of your application to the University. Bright Futures' Masters Scholarship

To be eligible for an award you must: - Be applying for a Masters course at the University to begin autumn 2015. - Be a resident of Hong Kong. Minimum results required: Candidates should have a minimum first or upper second class honours degree (or equivalent).

Application details

No separate application form is required. Admissions tutors in departments will nominate their most outstanding candidates for nomination. Nominated candidates will be asked to submit a brief candidacy statement for the award. To be eligible to be considered for the award, applications for graduate study should be received by 15th March 2015.

To be eligible for an award you must: - Be applying for a Masters course at the University to begin Autumn 2017. - Be an Indian national, residing in India. - Must not be in receipt of funding, either from Warwick or from another external funding body. -Applying to one of the approved courses (see webpage).

WMG Latin America, Syria and Turkey Bursaries 2013

If you are deemed for fee purposes to be from a Latin American country, Turkey or Syria then you will automatically be awarded these tuition fee bursaries. There is no need to apply for these awards and there is no deadline, they are given to all eligible offer-holders who are from these areas. These awards will be paid towards tuition fees only.

WMG Scholarships 2013

For students applying for WMG full time MSc courses, a number of competitive scholarships are available for offer holders who will start in 2013. Scholarship awards will give students discount of between 20% and 50% off tuition fees. To be eligible for scholarships, an application must be made online. The application form will be open from January 2013. The deadline for scholarship applications will be Monday 20th May 2013. Applications will be considered during June and winners notified soon afterwards. Scholarship winners and the size of award will be decided on the basis of academic merit and the strength of the scholarship application. These awards will be paid towards tuition fees only and are offered only to self-funded students who commence studies in September 2013.

The Reid Trust Higher Education Grants for Women

Chevening Scholarships
