Overview

Founded in 1910, Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association. It is a residential campus with a park-like setting and 119 buildings. BGSU has a 20:1 student to faculty ratio, with students from 70 countries. BGSU’s Indian Student Association, established in 1985, is an effort by Indian students, faculty and other international friends in Bowling Green to create a microcosm of India, keeping the vibrant pulse of plurality epitomized in Indians, alive.

MS in Computer Sciences

I completed my Master's in Computer Sciences with networking as specalisation at the BGSU. The university is equipped with state of the art facilities...and the modules on offer are superb. I enjoyed my program and got a read full review

About the accommodation

BGSU offers current residents the opportunity to live in university-sponsored apartments at 524 N. Enterprise. There will be 4 person and 2 person apartments available: 3 bedroom apartments - 1 double room, 2 single rooms (4 total people); 1 bedroom apartments - 1 double room (2 total people). Students must be a current on-campus resident at BGSU; must be classified (according to the BGSU Undergraduate Catalog) as a Sophomore by May 7, 2010 (30-59 hours earned); must have a cumulative grade point average GPA of 2.8 or higher; must not be on University level or residential level probation or have any student discipline charges during the 2009-2010 academic year. All buildings are smoke free and all rooms have cable TV access, in-room computer connection and one telephone line (phone set not included). Most rooms are carpeted, blinds (or draperies) and wastebaskets are provided. All apartments are fully furnished, have resident advisor and students services support, have free cable and high-speed internet (DSL) security, reserved parking and are close to classes and campus dining.
