This university provides two types of housing one is University center and other is Wabash Building. All new first-year, full-time students enrolled at the Chicago Campus of Roosevelt University are required to live in University housing for their first two years. This policy applies to students who are under the age of 21 on the first day of the initial term of enrollment, regardless of accumulated credit hours. The UC is a modern residence hall that houses all types of students. Students are assigned only to live with students from their school. This apartment does not require a meal plan; and 4 Bedroom Private Apartment-4 individual bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room. This apartment does not require a meal plan. The Wabash Building is a new residence hall opening fall 2012 that is comprised of shared bedrooms and private bedrooms in suites. It is connected to the Auditorium Building. The residence hall in Wabash Building consists of these types of suites: shared bedroom suite- two bedrooms, with 4 people total, bathroom private bedroom suite -four individual bedrooms, bathroom 4 bedroom quint suite-three private bedrooms and one shared double bedroom, a total of 5 students will live in this room type, bathroom triple bedroom suite- two bedrooms, the triple bedroom will house three students; at total of 5 students will live in this room type and share the bathroom. The amenities includes: air conditioning, all utilities included, full access to rooms during holiday periods and breaks, fully furnished rooms, WiFi in entire building, 24/7 on-site security staff and secured entrances, fitness room, handicap accessible options, laundry facilities (card-based, no quarters required), meeting areas, and direct TV access. The things not to bring residence hall are: animals, pets, waterbed, open coil cooking appliances, electric blanket, space heater, fireworks, firearms, explosives, or other weapons, replicas or facsimiles, and halogen lamp.
