Housing for students is provided in college-operated student residence halls. The housing application must be filed each year. It is accompanied by the “Student Housing Agreement” which should be carefully read in its entirety before the student signs the housing application/contract. Acceptance of a housing assignment constitutes an agreement by the student to the terms and conditions accompanying the assignment. Failure to comply with such terms and conditions, and other regulations as promulgated and announced by the College, may result in loss of housing. The Housing Directors, who are full-time professional staff members, and Resident Assistants, who are students, provide leadership in each residence hall to stimulate and sustain a variety of interests among students. The “living and learning” focus emphasizes student growth through residence hall programs, students’ development of personal, recreational, social, and interpersonal relationships. The two main dormitories are Evelyn E. Holt Hall - women’s dorm and Julia C. Emery Hall - men’s dorm.
