With a student to faculty ratio of 13-to-1, professors who know students by name, and field experience beginning in the first year, Springfield College offers students the ultimate educational experience. Springfield is a private educational institution based in Springfield, Massachusetts.
The city of Springfield is ranked as one of the top 100 cities to live in the United States (U.S. News & World Report). The College is on the shores of Lake Massasoit. Centrally located from a variety of attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues, there’s always something to do. Across the lake is East Campus, which is 82 acres of forest ecosystem in the center of the city. With ropes courses, canoes, kayaks, and an outdoor fire pit with seating for 200, East Campus serves as an excellent experiential learning and teambuilding resource. The College’s reach doesn’t stop in Springfield. Its School of Professional and Continuing Studies also has regional campuses across the USA.
Five schools make up the academic landscape of Springfield College, offering a broad range of study options. Springfield offers bachelors degrees in more than 40 majors, masters degrees in 12 different fields, and doctoral programs in counseling psychology, physical therapy, and physical education.

Outside the Classrooms
Springfield boasts a competitive NCAA Division III athletic program with 26 teams at Springfield College. Conditioning programs specifically tailored to each athletic team are created to help ensure teams are ready to compete at their full potential. In addition to strength, Springfield teams have a lot of heart. In fact, many partner with Team IMPACT, an organization that connects college athletic teams with children diagnosed with life-threatening and chronic illnesses. The children are drafted onto the team and remain a teammate until graduation.
Graduate ready for whatever comes next
Springfield alumni stay in touch, even if they’re living in a different time zone. The Office of Alumni Relations and Career Center host networking events where students can meet alumni, make connections, and get leads for jobs and internships.
A recent post-graduation survey found that 96 percent of bachelor degree recipients were either employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. This placement rate is 12 percent higher than the national average in the USA. The College’s emphasis on experiential learning means students graduate with experience already on their resumes, which helps put them ahead of the curve.
Its international graduates have turned their Springfield College experiences into fulfilling careers in fields such as business, rehabilitation, physical education, and sport management.
