Stick to your major

The one thing that I recommend is to pick a major and stick with it. Once you get your degree, it does not seem to matter what it was in, businesses just want to know that you graduated. Also, if you have no idea what yo read full review

Work is interesting

For future students: being different and friendly, i.e. a nice approachable yet non-condescending vocal anarcho-capitalist, will get you noticed. Being a sweet person who follows the trends is less likely to get noticed.

About the accommodation

UCSB offers approximately 4700 residence hall spaces to single students: Located in three geographic areas of the campus: Storke Campus, Main Campus East, Main Campus West, All are within walking or biking distance to classes, dining commons, and recreational facilities, Most provide double rooms shared by two students, A limited number of single rooms are also available. Amenities in the Residence Halls; Furnished accommodations for both men and women included: bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, closet, bookshelf, wastebasket, drapes, Lounge and study space, Computer lounges, Residential Data Communication Network, and active Ethernet ports and wireless access in student rooms, Housekeeping and card-operated laundry rooms, 4 dining facilities with choice of meal plans, snack kitchenettes, Wheelchair accessible facilities. Undergraduate Apartments provide approximately 290 furnished apartments for single (unmarried) full-time UCSB students. Facilities includes; Bedrooms are carpeted and contain an extra long twin size bed, a closet, a drawer, a desk and chair for each student, Kitchens have vinyl flooring and are equipped with cabinets, a sink with garbage disposal, a stove and a refrigerator. Living/Dining Rooms are carpeted and furnished with a couch, chair, end tables, coffee table, lamps, dining table and dining chairs. Santa Ynez apartments also contain an entertainment center cabinet. Bathrooms have a tub-shower unit, wash basin, toilet and medicine cabinets. Two-bedroom apartments in Santa Ynez have 1.5 bathrooms. Two bedroom apartments in El Dorado have 2 full bathrooms. High-speed wired and wireless internet access is provided free of charge to all residents. Parking is available, and permits may be purchased. An Exercise Room located in the Santa Ynez apartment complex is available to all residents. Swimming Pools in El Dorado and Westgate are available to all residents.
