Are you currently in Standard 6/Form 1, Form 2/3 or Form 5? If you are and have excellent academic records, possess a high level of proficiency in English and are active in co-curricular activities, now is your golden opportunity to apply for the prestigious ASEAN Scholarship to study in Singapore.

The application for ASEAN Scholarships for Malaysian students is now open till 28th March 2014.

 

Secondary One Scholarships

Tenable for 6 years, the Secondary One Scholarships lead to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) certificate. The scholarship is for Secondary One to Pre-University Two, and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

 

Secondary Three Scholarships

Tenable for 4 years, The Secondary Three Scholarships lead to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) certificate. The Scholarship is for Secondary Three to Pre-University Two, and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

 

Pre-University One Scholarships

Tenable for 2 years, the Pre-University One Scholarships lead to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) certificate. The scholarship is for two years in selected Singapore Junior Colleges, and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

All applicants must complete an online application. The closing date for applications is 28th March 2014. If you’re shortlisted for tests and interviews, you’ll be required to attend them in any of the following cities; Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Penang, Singapore.

 

Terms and conditions

Successful applicants will receive:

  • An annual allowance of S$2,200 (Secondary) / S$2,400 (Pre-University) with hostel accommodation.
  • Settling-in-allowance of S$400 (once only).
  • Return economy class air passage for East Malaysians or S$50 return transport allowance for West Malaysians.
  • Coverage of school fees.
  • Coverage of GCE O-Level and A-Level examination fees.
  • Subsidised medical benefits and accident insurance cover.
