Becker Helicopter Services was founded in the year 1995 as a private training institution. The main training facilities are at Sunshine Coast Airport, Queensland and remote training facilities at Alice Springs, Carnarvon Gorge and Coleambally. The Institution primarily offers helicopter flight training covering both flight and theory training on day VFR (Visual Flight Rules), Multiengine IFR (Instrument Flight Rules), Simulator, NVFR (Night Visual Flight Rules) and more. Additionally, training on aerial work including fire fighting, aerial culling, aerial surveys, aerial photography & filming, and sling loads are also provided.
