Course summary
The Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science was developed to provide Nurses and Beauty Therapists with the underpinning knowledge and skills to commence work in the field of cosmetic medicine or advanced beauty. The Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science is the most comprehensive training programme for beauty therapists available in Australia and overseas. Practical workshops take place in a fully equipped cosmetic practice to facilitate skill development in a clinical and medical setting. The course is run over two semesters (one year) on a full-time basis. In addition to 20 contact hours per week, a student will have a further 10 to 15 hours per week of self-guided study.
Entry requirement for international students
minimum English Language proficiency is IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6 in each of the four components and/or TOEFL score of 570 pen and paper test and 230 computer based test with an overall score of 4.5 in the essay component. Evidence of English language proficiency must be provided for entry into the course
