Course summary
This course will provide students with a strong theoretical foundation in the sciences, in particular the natural sciences, sound preparation for conducting independent research relevant to a broad range of applied laboratory and field work situations, and a higher education pathway to complete the Bachelor of Science. Depending upon electives chosen, graduates will be well prepared for further study in botany and zoology, ecology and evolution, genetics or resource and environmental management.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have an ACT Year 12 Certificate (or equivalent) with a T-Major in both mathematics and a science, and at least a T-Minor in English or mature age (turn at least 20 in first year of study). International students whose native is not English should have the following English qualifications: Academic IELTS - an overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL (paper based test) - a score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; TOEFL (computer based test) - a score of 230 with Essay score of 4.5TOEFL (paper based test) or TOEFL (internet based test) - a score of 90, with a minimum of 20 in all four sections.
