Course summary

This courses provide students with a knowledge-base in financial accounting, management accounting, business law and finance. The sustainable business and environmental science courses equip students with the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of organisations to strategically manage and report their environmental and social impacts on the community as well as provide them with an understanding of the principles and practices associated with carbon accounting and carbon tax/emissions trading systems. In addition, the program provides students with the necessary broad-based administrative and management skills required by organisations to compete in the global economic environment. Public accountant, chartered accountant, company accountant, carbon accountant, company secretary, financial administrator, government (tax department, audit office, treasury, local government), financial planner, investment adviser, financial institutions (banks, building societies), forensic accountant.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should have satisfied IELTS (Academic Training only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5), Pearson (PTA) score of 50 (with no score lower than 50), TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with minimum test of written English score of 4.5), TOEFL (electronic) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5) and TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands).
