Course summary

This double degree is a specialist undergraduate finance and economics program which covers a broad range of current knowledge and technical skills required for many career opportunities in business and finance. This course is suitable for students wanting to gain up-to-date analytical knowledge and relevant technical skills which can be applied to real industry situations in finance and economics. Graduates are well qualified for employment in finance and banking both in Australia and internationally. They have excellent career opportunities in specialist financial institutions, treasury and finance departments of large private companies, security and currency trading, portfolio management and general financial and investment advising. The double degree allows a wide variety of careers in industry, commerce, banking, education and government as professional economist, economics researcher.

Entry requirement for international students

Students must send in the completed application forms to Macquarie International, Macquarie University, Building E3A, Level 1, NORTH RYDE NSW 2109, AUSTRALIA along with the certified copies or original evidence of all academic qualifications, including transcripts and graduation certificates, certified copies or original evidence of English language proficiency, certified copy of passport and if necessary, attach any other additional information or portfolios. An application fee of AUD 110 must also be sent along with the application form.
