Course summary

This course will give students a broad base of commercial knowledge as well as the opportunity to major in a specific business area. This understanding of business makes students more attractive to employers, even if they wish to work predominantly in a science-based career. Students can gain employment as a consultant, marketer or project manager within firms developing and taking scientific research to the marketplace. They will also develop the entrepreneurial skills necessary to sell their abilities to a range of employers including government agencies, private enterprise and not-for-profit organisations.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should have knowledge in English (4, SA) and Maths B (4, SA). They must also satisfy English language requirements, IELTS overall band score of 6.5 with no sub-band below 6.0; or TOEFL score of 90 with at least 20 in all bands (Internet Based).
