Course summary

This course offers students two courses of study: an elective course and a research thesis. The Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree will provide training in research as an end in itself, or as a suitable qualification for entry into a higher degree program. On completion of this program, students will be qualified for a career in private industry, government agencies, and the secondary and tertiary education system.

Entry requirement for international students

Students must have completed a three year related degree with above average marks. They should also have overall IELTS (Academic) band score of 6.0, with no individual sub-score less than 5.5 and TOEFL score of 550, including the Test of Written English (TWE) or score of 213 in the computer based test or minimum score of 79 in the internet based test (with scores not less than 20 in writing and speaking and 18 in reading and listening).
