Course summary
In this course students will about Metallurgy, the science and engineering of the extraction and refining of minerals and metals from raw ores. Metallurgists are the crucial link in the metal supply chain and aim to maximise production whilst minimising the overall environmental impact through sustainable practices. this is an industry-oriented program where basic knowledge is developed to produce highly practical, outcome oriented graduates ready for industry.
Entry requirement for international students
Students satisfactory completion of the VCE, including prerequisites units 3 and 4 Mathematics (any). A study score of at least 20 in any of biology, chemistry , mathematical methods (either), geography or physics aggregate 3 point higher per study. They should also have overall IELTS band score of 6.0, with no individual sub-score less than 5.5
