Course summary
In this course, students will be exposed to a contemporary integrative approach to this understanding, one that recognizes the importance of, and interrelationships between, biological, developmental, social, cognitive, and developmental factors. It will cover broad areas of psychology including behavioural and clinical neuroscience, child and adolescent psychology, relationships and the psychology of groups, cognitive psychology, forensic psychology, and psychopathology. On completion, students can work in a variety of settings including clinical, forensic, organisational, educational, health sport and many other specialist areas.
Entry requirement for international students
Students from different countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Australia. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: an overall band score of 6 or better in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test (Academic module) with no individual band score less than 6; a score of 213 or better (essay rating 4.5) in the computer-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); score of 79 or better (writing score 21) in the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT); score of 550 or better (writing score 4.5) in the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or satisfactory completion of a qualification where English is the language of instruction and assessment for at least two academic years of the program.
