Course summary
This course provides a course of advanced study which builds on and extends knowledge gained in the BA or a relevant undergraduate degree. It also provide students with the research experience, advanced analytical skills and theoretical background necessary as the preferred prerequisite for a higher degree by Research (Masters or PhD). Graduates will have an advantage in employment over a graduate with an undergraduate degree; meet the standard prerequisite for entry to the Master by Research or PhD both here and in universities across the world; provide employers with evidence of capacity to undertake research therefore expanding career options; complete a research product which may be published.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed a three-year undergraduate course with results at the level of Distinction or above (or equivalent grades) in at least the last two units of their two specialisations (or equivalent studies); and must have obtained results at the level of credit or above (or equivalent grades) in at least 60% of the total number of undergraduate units attempted. They must also have IELTS (Academic) overall score of 6 with no band less than 6,TOEFL (Internet) test score of 80 with no section score less than 20 andTOEFL (Computer) test score of 213 with Essay Rating score not less than 5. They should also have EAP University Preparation UP2 (UG).
