Course summary

This program is a combined degree program. For those graduates who do not practise law, their qualifications provide an understanding of how the society functions, and foster skills of analytical and logical reasoning and will enhance their employment opportunities in areas of business, government and administration. Graduates may also secure employment in legal branches of large corporate organisations. Some graduates may pursue careers in the area of their Arts major or in teaching, government positions or management and administration. Entry requirement for international students

Applicants must have completed an appropriate school leaving examination or equivalent, or a recognised post-secondary qualification. Students of China must have Senior Middle School 3 or 2 60% (SMS 3) or 75% (SMS 2), Malaysia students with SPM 30 points over five subjects and UEC 30 points over five subjects, Singapore students must have GCE ‘O’ Level (or forecast results) 30 points over five subjects and Vietnam students must possess Diploma of General Education Average grade 7.0. English language requirements include IELTS Overall Score of 5.5 (with no individual band less than 5.0), TOEFL – Computer-based Test score of 173 with a TWE minimum score of 4.0, TOEFL – Internet-based Test 71 with a minimum score of 16 in Writing, TOEFL – Paper-based Test 500 with a TWE minimum score of 4.0, GCE ‘O’ Levels C6, SPM English of grade B4, UEC Senior 2 English of grade B3, HKCEE English with grade C (Minimum D in Writing) and HKALE Use of English with grade E.
