Course summary
This program will equip students with the skills and knowledge needed in a variety of health-related occupations: in health promotion, policy, planning, and research to name just a few. As well as following a coherent pattern of study in a health science in which Macquarie’s leadership is widely acknowledged, students will also gain an appreciation of the broader social context of health and of the value of bringing an interdisciplinary perspective to this area of growing individual and community concern. Graduates are in high demand in the health sector, and pursue careers in the areas of health promotion, policy, planning, research, and psychology.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have an IELTS (Academic English only) score of minimum 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; a TOEFL (paper based test) minimum score of 580 overall, with 53 listening, 52 reading, 59 Structure/ Written Expression, 5.0 TWE; TOEFL (computer based test score of minimum 237 overall, with 19 Listening, 19 Reading, 25 Structure/Writing and TOEFL (internet based test) score of minimum 92 overall, with 18 Listening, 17 Reading, 22 Writing, 22 Speaking.
