Course summary
This combined degree allows students to complete two Bachelor programs in five years of full-time study. The Bachelor of Laws qualifies graduates for admission to legal practice. It involves an innovative approach to legal education and scholarship. Personalised teaching and development of internet technology in the curriculum reinforce the reputation for innovation. The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology covers a broad range of topics including personality, perception, neuroscience, learning, biopsychology, social and personality psychology, organisational psychology, developmental psychology, neuropsychology and cognitive processes. Students have the option to continue their studies in Psychology in order to gain accreditation from the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Entry requirement for international students
There is no specific entry requirements necessary, however, mathematics is recommended. The required Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for this course is 94.45. Students should also fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic English only) score of 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; TOEFL (paper based test) score of 580 overall, with 53 listening, 52 reading, 59 structure/written expression, 5.0 TWE; TOEFL (computer based test) score of 237 overall, with 19 listening, 19 reading, 25 structure/writing and TOEFL (internet based test) score of 92 overall, with 18 listening, 17 reading, 22 writing and 22 speaking.
