This course is designed for students who want the flexibility to study a range of areas within one degree. The flexibility of the Bachelor of Arts program is ideal if they have interests across a number of diverse career opportunities. This program allows students a high level of flexibility to choose a major from a variety of study areas across the university, including Ancient History, Anthropology, Chinese Studies, Contemporary Music, Creative Arts, Croatian Studies, Cultural Studies, Dance, English, French Studies, Gender Studies, German Studies, Indigenous Studies, International Communication, Italian Studies, Japanese Studies, Media, Modern Greek Studies, Modern History, Philosophy, Polish Studies, Politics, Population Studies, Russian Studies, Sociology, Spanish and Latin American Studies, Writing and Public Sector Management. Career Opportunities: Employment opportunities are in a range of industries depending on the major area of study taken during the degree. Arts graduates can be found working in diverse areas which include advertising, community development, government, publishing, business management, consultation services, translations, diplomacy, education, design, entertainment and the media.
Entry requirement for international students
There is no specific entry requirements necessary for this course. Students should also fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic English only) score of 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; TOEFL (paper based test) score of 580 overall, with 53 listening, 52 reading, 59 structure/written expression, 5.0 TWE; TOEFL (computer based test) score of 237 overall, with 19 listening, 19 reading, 25 structure/writing and TOEFL (internet based test) score of 92 overall, with 18 listening, 17 reading, 22 writing and 22 speaking.
