Course summary

This program teaches students to manage and supervision techniques specific to the building industry while developing detailed knowledge about building processes and materials. Construction managers need to fully understand legal frameworks and the roles of various players within the industry, as well as being skilled with technology to manage their projects. These together with negotiation, presentation and communication skills, will be well honed during the course; and after two Industry Based Learning semesters of co-operative education in the construction industry students will know what the real world of building management is all about. Careers are builder or developer, construction manager, investment analyst, project estimator, project manager, quantity surveyor, site manager.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should have obtained Higher Secondary Certificate with a grade average of 76 in academic subjects; all India Senior School Certificate with an overall grade of seven for best four externally examined subjects equivalent to other countries. In addition they should have fulfilled English language requirements with minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (academic) or equivalent.
